about

Making complex things simple, for a living

I grew up in Fabriano, the city of paper: a place that has spent seven hundred years turning a complicated material into something anyone can write on. I like to think my work does the same — with processes, and with technology.

I studied computer science and telecommunications, started out in systems — servers, networks, backups — and then took two roads at once: building software and teaching technology. I have been in classrooms with students and teachers since 2018; from the lab I moved on to products: management platforms, AI assistants with human review, tools for people who work and people who learn.

The two roads turned out to be one. My software ships with operating guides, explicit states and visible flows — because users should understand a system, not endure it. My workshops work because I have actually built what I teach. I design systems that make complex processes clear, and pathways that make complex technologies accessible.

principi

Three working principles

Clarity first

A system you have to explain every time is a badly designed system. Interfaces, documents, lessons: everything should be understandable on its own.

AI with human oversight

Artificial intelligence works well when it is grounded in verified sources and people keep the last word. That is how every one of my projects works.

Care for details

Empty states, error messages, the Friday-afternoon edge case: product quality shows where nobody looks.
