Custom development, from analysis to production

I design and build custom web applications for companies, professional firms, institutions and universities: one person from process analysis to deployment, with AI used where it helps and always under human control.

servizi

What I build

Custom web applications

For processes that off-the-shelf software doesn’t cover.

  • Process and role analysis
  • UX/UI design and prototype
  • Frontend and backend development
  • Migration of existing data

The proof: Internship coordination platform

Management platforms and dashboards

For teams coordinating people, case files, deadlines and territories.

  • Operational dashboards and KPIs
  • Calendars, maps and planning
  • Explicit states and approval workflows
  • Reports and exports

The proof: Operations & AI content platform

Supervised AI integrations

For teams that want AI in their processes without losing control.

  • Assistants grounded in official documents
  • Automatic source and number checks
  • Human approval queues
  • Re-checks when documents change

The proof: AI student helpdesk

UX/UI and design systems

For products that must explain themselves.

  • Information architecture
  • Design systems and consistent components
  • Operating guides inside the interface
  • Accessibility as a requirement, not an option

The proof: All three case studies

the bridge

EdTech products

When I build for education, my two crafts meet: platforms for teaching, tools for teachers, and products like SoleStorie — an NFC system I designed and built that links physical objects to digital content for narrative classroom experiences.

metodo

The method, in full

  1. Analysis

I interview the people who run the process today and map roles, exceptions and documents. Output: clear requirements and drawn flows.

  2. UX/UI

Information architecture, wireframes and interface built on the design system. Output: an approved, navigable prototype.

  3. Development

Frontend and backend, data, permissions, integrations. Output: verifiable releases at a short cadence.

  4. AI and automation

Only where the process justifies it: document-grounded assistants, drafts, checks. Output: AI flows with human approval.

  5. Testing

Sessions with real users, edge cases, accessibility. Output: a defect list closed before release.

  6. Deployment

Servers, DNS, HTTPS, backups, monitoring. Output: a system in production with recovery procedures.

  7. Maintenance

Updates, evolutions, support. Output: a product that ages well.

Stack and practices

I choose stable, maintainable technologies that fit the project — not the trend of the month.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t have a technical brief. Is that a problem?

No — that’s exactly where we start. The first phase is the analysis of your real process: interviews, documents, exceptions. We write the brief together, in plain language.

Who maintains the platform after release?

I do, if you wish: server, backups, updates and small evolutions. Alternatively, I hand over documentation and access so your team is autonomous.

Can AI work on our confidential documents?

Yes, with clear rules: minimised data, controlled sources, verified answers and human approval wherever content is sensitive. Privacy is designed in, not bolted on.

Do you work remotely?

Yes — most projects run fully remote. For analysis sessions and training I’m available on-site in central Italy.

Tell me about your project. Or your classroom.

Whether you have a process to digitise, a product idea or a training programme to build, we start with a concrete, no-strings conversation.
